About
I work across video installation, painting, drawing, collage, performance, dance, music, sculpture, photography, writing, and film. I’m deeply invested in using humor in my work, often taking on the role of the trickster. As I’m a collaborative of two, much of my work engages in mirroring, doubling, matching, repetition, and role swapping – I am double trouble. I weave together different modes of storytelling, such as from vaudeville, slapstick, American news media, folk tales, and experimental comedy. I play with power structures, putting myself into situations in which I both give up agency and claim space. I received my MFA from Columbia's Visual Arts Program in 2017, and my BAs from Harvard College and Vassar College.
